Made in Japan (1945-1991): Innovation in the Economic Miracle

Research led brief stemmed from a long-standing interest in post war Japanese innovation and progression. The result of the research celebrates the ‘Economic Miracle’ which is a term used to refer to the period of Japan’s dramatic economic development that was entirely unexpected following the war.

The term is revered through a book which explores the vast breadth of innovations to come from Japan, and questions how they helped rebuild the country both economically
and culturally.
